Ante-Natal

An ante-natal clinic is held each Wednesday morning; alternating between Brewood and Wheaton Aston Surgery, when a midwife is in attendance. Appointments may be made for this clinic or with any doctor during normal surgery hours.

Cervical Smears

An appointment may be made with any of the practice nurses – In certain circumstances an appointment may be made with the doctor of your choice.

Family Planning

Appointments may be made during normal surgery hours, with a doctor or practice nurse.

Child Immunisation Clinic

A clinic is held at Wheaton Aston Surgery on a Tuesday morning and Brewood Surgery on a Tuesday afternoon. Otherwise by appointment in normal surgery hours.

Respiratory, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes And Hypertension Clinics

These are offered by the practice nurses. Please ask at reception for details.

Minor Surgery

Performed by appointment after prior consultation with a doctor.

Cryosurgery Clinic

This clinic is held weekly on a Thursday afternoon at Brewood. Warts, Verrucas and other skin lesions are treated with liquid nitrogen. Appointments may be made after prior consultation with a doctor or nurse.

Vasectomies

This service is offered free of charge on the NHS at the surgery in Brewood. Appointments should be made with Dr Houlder for vasectomy counselling.

Travel

The surgery offers travel vaccination and health advice for patients travelling abroad. Please ask at reception for a travel form for each person who is travelling (or print off from link below) and complete with your detailed travel itinerary. You must include city/town you are visiting as well as country.

 After handing your completed travel form into the surgery one of our practice nurses will contact you after a few days (please provide day time contact number) to book an appointment with you in one of our travel clinics held twice a month at Brewood Surgery. As this is a busy service the practice nurse needs at least 6-8 weeks notice before you travel.
