The Doctors
GPs are the central clinical component of a practice. They provide support and guidance to other clinical practitioners.
Advanced Clinical Practitioners
Advanced Clinical Practitioners are health care professionals that have studied at Masters Level or demonstrated the equivalent through a rigorous process that allows them to practice at an Advanced Level. They can do almost all a Doctor can and are similar to Specialist Nurses in Hospital. They could be from a background of Nursing, Paramedic, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy etc.
Practice Pharmacists
Practice pharmacists have a Masters degree in Pharmacy and may have Post Graduate Diplomas in Clinical Pharmacy and have done a Masters Level Qualification in Prescribing to be Independent Prescribers.
