Practice Pharmacists

Practice pharmacists have a Masters degree in Pharmacy and may have Post Graduate Diplomas in Clinical Pharmacy and  have done a Masters Level Qualification in Prescribing to be Independent Prescribers.

The practice pharmacists conduct medication reviews with patients who are on long term medications. They can discuss changes to medications, side effects and how long term medication monitoring can benefit the patient.

The pharmacy team are in direct contact with pharmaceutical organisations and are at the forefront of updates and changes within NHS medication guidelines.
